This year, dinner entertainment is provided by Ulyn Small and Dorothy Borisova.
Ulyn has been performing for over 15 years. She performs a wide variety of music including Opera, Jazz and Gospel. She has performed with Opera Lyra at the NAC, Freedom Opera Company at Centerpointe Theatre, as a member of Kathy Grant’s Gospel Ensemble – Chosen – and at various festivals and other stage venues around Ottawa. She also performs with local church choirs.
Dorothy Borisova is a gifted classical pianist who has been playing since the age of 6. She was a previous performer at ChristianGovernance’s Titanic Dinner in 2012. She has played in concerts, weddings,and seniors residences. She won the Silver Medal for her Grade 3 RCM exam. Dorothy has wowed audiences with her rendition of Calvin Jones’ Whitewater Chopped Sticks.
Member of Parliament Maurice Vellacott will be talking about some of his experiences sharing his faith among colleagues on Parliament Hill, an environment often seen as hostile to Christian faith and religion.
Jeremiah Hadwen will be sharing some of the experiences and opportunities he has had to share his faith on the university campus as he pursues a degree in medicine.
