“Resisting the Green Dragon” , a production of the Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation, takes its cue from James 4:7, “Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Without a doubt one of the greatest threats to society and the church today is the multifaceted environmentalist movement. Although its reach is often subtle, there isn’t an aspect of life that it doesn’t seem to force into its own mold. This explosive series, conducted by some of the top Christian leaders and scholars in America, contains twelve half-hour sessions. At our Courageous Justice conference, we will be looking at “The False World View of the Green Movement” and “Ravaging the World’s Poor.” Learn how the Bible powerfully confronts environmental fears and how – in God’s wise design – people and nature can thrive together.
FROZEN TEARS – You will learn who the speaker for “Frozen Tears – The terror of her Arab-Muslim husband” is when you arrive at the conference – by Lina Aziz.

“Nefarious: Merchant of Souls” is a production of Exodus Cry, founded in 2007 with a commitment to abolish sex slavery through Christ-centered prevention, intervention and holistic restoration for trafficking victims. This graphic, on-location documentary gets behind the veil of the international sex industry. With over 27 million enslaved people in the world, human trafficking is once again the battlefront of the century. Regardless of nationality, victims are systematically stripped of their identity, battered into gruesome submission, and made to perform humiliating sexual acts on up to 40 strangers every night. Most are held in dingy apartments and brothels, forced to take heavy doses of illegal drugs, and monitored very closely. Victims are often thrown into such ghastly oppression at 13 years old. Some are abducted outright, while others are lured out of poverty, romantically seduced, or sold by their families. “Nefarious, Merchant of Souls,” is a hard-hitting documentary that exposes the disturbing trends in modern sex slavery. From the very first scene, “Nefarious” ushers you into the nightmare of sex slavery that hundreds of thousands experience daily. You’ll see where slaves are sold (often in developed, affluent countries), where they work, and where they are confined. You’ll hear first-hand interviews with real victims and traffickers, along with expert analysis from international humanitarian leaders.
We are excited to announce our entertainment for our upcoming banquet. We have some music planned that is very thematic with our “Courageous Justice” message. We are also going to enjoy some great dinner music from a good friend and professional singer, David Krayden.David is a classic interpreter of the renowned Great American Songbook. He is a jazz and lounge vocalist in the tradition of Frank Sinatra, with a feeling for the jazz, swing and lounge music that dominated much of the twentieth century and continues to resonate with lovers of great melodies today. He has lived the life and experienced the emotional complexity of the nuanced lyrics that he sings with profound respect and understanding. In the ’90s David Krayden’s Rat Pax played to sold-out shows on the West Coast during the peak of the lounge revival. His concerts and intimate shows at Martini bars established his name. Krayden was doing live radio shows from the Hyatt Regency hotel with then up-and-coming singer Michael Bublé. He was playing in the same clubs that had just launched Diana Krall to the first stage of superstardom. He has played Vegas and here in Ottawa opened the Jazz’oo Café. He continues to bring his musical magic to enthusiastic crowds wherever he performs. We are looking forward to David’s entertainment to fill out our evening banquet, which also includes a great meal and feature speaker, Bojidar Marinov, all the way from Houston, Texas. You can learn more about David Krayden here http://davidkrayden.com/
